“ What a great place! It's so unique inside with its different rooms and their themes. We went there to celebrate my mom's birthday, and the food did not disappoint. I was debating between 2 Benedicts and let the waitress decide. I was presented with the smoked salmon Benedict. Yum! The salmon alone was a tad salty for me, but with the hollandaise sauce, it was perfect. My mom ordered the sourdough burger with fruit. The amount of fruit was huge! ”

“ This is a great place to stop on Balboa Island for a bite to eat. Breakfast is served all day. The indoor dining is retro with a big wooden bar and wood beam ceilings. Outside dining looks like a cafe. The portions are big and filling. They have a full drink menu. I had an avocado BLT with a side of coleslaw. The coleslaw was really good, crunchy not soggy with red cabbage and shredded carrots. The BLT was chocked full of yumminess. The bacon was really good. Service was excellent. The decaf coffee hit the spot on a cool day and tasted like real coffee. ”
“ this place has cute diner vibes. the decor is almost like cabin and beach combined. the service was nice, there were different waiters for drinks, food, and payment, which was different. we got the seasonal pumpkin pancakes- can't go wrong with that! the eggs benedict are larger than i imagined and have lots of hollandaise sauce! my friend got the breakfast quesadilla which looked unique, id like to try that next time. the bacon was nice and crispy, and i was able to order the hashbrowns extra crispy. parking was a bit hard and the restroom line was long, so just prepare for that and you'll have a great time! ”

Parking can be tricky, but there are a lot of small streets you can park on. Restrooms are small, so be prepared to wait. Menu offers quite a few things. Cozy, with holiday ambience, and the theme of the sea all around, I couldn't ask for a better setting for dinner before Christmas lights! The scramble was sooo good, but even better was the cornbread, served with honey and butter. Please visit this place! ”
